Our Principles

Truth before scale.

Five commitments that govern how the firm researches, writes and advises. Every sentence we publish is tested against them.

The three tests

  1. 01Is it true?
  2. 02Can we prove it?
  3. 03Would we defend it publicly?

A sentence that fails any of the three tests is rewritten or removed. The rule applies to research, to marketing, and to this page.

  1. I

    Independent Thinking

The firm is founder-led, self-funded and holds no brokerage, product-distribution or commission relationships. There is no third party paying for a conclusion. When our view is unfashionable, we still hold it. When consensus is convenient, we still test it.

  2. II

    Transparency

Methodology is disclosed. Sources are cited. Assumptions are labelled. Models are shared with clients on request. Forthcoming work is described as forthcoming — never dressed as a completed track record.

  3. III

    Evidence-Based Analysis

Every claim is traceable to a source the reader can verify. Numbers we cannot prove are not presented as numbers we can. Estimates are marked as estimates. Opinion is marked as opinion.

  4. IV

    Intellectual Honesty

We say “we don’t know” when we don’t. We change our minds in writing when the evidence changes. When we are wrong, we correct the record on the same page, with the same prominence as the original claim.

  5. V

    Truth Before Scale

We will not manufacture size, history, credibility or clients we have not earned. There are no invented offices, no ghost testimonials, no borrowed logos, no fabricated statistics. The firm will grow only in proportion to what is verifiably true about it.

What this means in practice

A short list of things you will not find on this website.

  • No client logos, testimonials or case studies we cannot attribute in writing.
  • No assets-under-advisory figures, transaction values or performance numbers presented as firm history.
  • No physical office addresses the firm does not occupy.
  • No media logos, awards or rankings the firm has not received.
  • No archive of past publications the firm has not written. Forthcoming work is labelled as such.

If you find copy on this site that fails one of the three tests above, write to us. We will correct it on the same page, with the same prominence as the original claim.
